My Take In The Vice Presidential Candidates Debate, Held on 14th December 2018

VP Osibanjo, Peter obi

Yes, the vice-presidential debate run to a conclusion that the other 3 participants were stage warmers and Peter carried the day with Osibanjo as second.

I was even more disappointed to listen to political Analysts on radio swiping words on the other three contestants  (describing the other three candidates as empty cartons ).

True be told the other three wasted TV time -but have we ask ourselves this questions?

1. Who is Peter Obi and Pro. Osibanjo?

2. Their pass and present status ?

3. Do they get report for teams of professional advisers?

Before I proceed.

Allow me inform you that , *Peter was once eight  (8) years Governor of Anambra state, (who administrated the economy of the state)

*Chairman of Fidelity bank, ( who received  daily financial report of the index market, stock market, blue print and all sort of economic matrices from professionals)*

The chairman of Nigeria security and exchange commission.

The chairman of Next international.
Chairman of Guardian express Morgan bank.

Future view securities limited, I can go on and on, this man is a business tycoon controlling from Banking sector to beverages.(owner of Hore beer and many others)

This man control team of financial analysis /professionals and world class financial reporters.

To nail it all  Peter Obi is also a professional economics.

*Osibanjo*

This is the man who control the Nigeria economy, ( the office of the vise- president is in charge of the economy of Nigeria).

Friends, the centre bank of Nigeria give their performance report to Osibanjo.

The centre bank give him  update of Nigeria and the world financial index and wall Street report every Wednesdays or Thursday.

Pro. Yemi Osibanjo is the fore-runner of the Economy Recovery growth programme (ERGP) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Osibanjo also run a three years course with the London school of Economic.

He was involved in Lagos financial growth as a commissioner's of justice . (Lagos state).

Now, *who are this three contestants?*

*Nobody*
I mean they have no public or political record.
They haven't   even manage baba Ijebu shop for once in their lives.

One of them with low self- esteemed even called the narrator 'sir!

They were struggling with what to say bcos they lack adequate contents.

One even said she got Her BLA in University of Abuja and  her master in ABU, how she is a mother of seven and a good wife, she wouldn't stop boring  Nigerians with her empty CV.

Though , i wasn't surprised,  it was an insult to mount those three on same podium with Osibanjo and Peter.

*Now, Whats the lesson learnt*?

I was expecting Nigerians to talk about the lessons learnt instead of crucifying those three with big vocabularies on social media.

*The lessons to me are*-

1. The job of the President and vise- president required experience of leadership  and good understanding of global wall Street,  financial metrics and great deal of economic indices, it isn't a job for dreamers or youth who believe they can criticise well on blogs.

2. You need to be adequately informed and versatile .

3. You need to have good understanding of the entire system and government proceedings.

4. It isn't about good grammatical and analytical write-up or speech but rather it is about good technical understanding of economical, political and security modules.

I seriously believe Nigeria youth ain't ready to extinguish power from this old men, because we are too distracted by activities around us and pleasure of the new era including social media tools.

This old men are still reading, they are still  tackling the system, they are still mining vital informations.

Imagine Obasanjo getting  his PHD after attending the office of the President and National party Chairman, while our youth are busy fighting over  slay queen pictures on Facebook.

We are busy discussing what Tobi of the Big brother told his new girl friend and how Davido kiss Chioma.

Sometime ago I saw my  deputy Director  searching for a course to study on his PHD (after much achievement he still want to study further) that same day i saw my colleague searching good phone to buy before December.

The debate shown that the two old political are the only serious political parties Nigeria has for now.

They never too young to run might one day turn to never too old to stay with we don't stop criticism and start learning the process from our father.

From your boy *Pota D great*
