From the EFFC on Wednesday has made a statement after his release. He said : "Let me say very expressly that  I'm not like my friend, Godswill Akpabio that they used EFCC  to intimidate and he joined APC out of fear of going to jail. "I can't ridicule myself before my people and entire Nigerians. Again, I say that they have today but they can't have tomorrow. Just In:  Man Climbs Billboard Hanger, Vows To Jump Down Unless Buhari Resigns Within 12 Hours In Adamawa  An Adamawa man has climbed the billboard hanger vowing to jump doen unless Buhari resigns . Accord saharareporters, Lawan faro, a middle-aged man in Yola, capital  of Adamawa State, has climbed a 40-metre-tall billboard hanger, and vowed to fall off it unless President Muhammadu Buhari resigns within 12 hours. Speaking to SaharaReporters, Faro said his action was necessitated by the "extreme poverty" in the land. "I think it’s time for Buhari to give way for someone like Atiku Abubakar to lead us out of the present hardship", he cried. He threatened to fall off after 12 hours if Atiku Abubakar does not show up to assure him of Buhari's ouster in 2019. "I will remain here for 12 hours to show my discontent, and someone not less than Atiku must come here to assure me that this government must be sacked in the forthcoming election.” ...

Just In: PDP-Loses All 3 Senators In Rivers State to APC According to report, the Senator representing Rivers West, Osinakachukwu Ideozu, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress. Majority Leader at the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, announced Osinakachukwu’s defection at plenary on Wednesday. Lawan, who was moving a motion for the adjournment of plenary till November 6, welcomed and congratulated him for joining the majority party. With this, the three senators from Rivers, a PDP-controlled state, are now members of the APC. The others are Senators Andrew Uchendu (Rivers East) and Magnus Abe (Rivers South East).

Supplementary budget of N10bn Probe  Ex–Governor Fayose Not bothered  Fayose in court on Wednesday According to report, from Mr. Lere Olayinka, the media aide to ex-Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has said that his principal is not worried about the planned probe of the N10bn supplementary budget that he signed in the twilight of his tenure. The Ekiti State House of Assembly on Tuesday constituted a three-man panel to probe the N10bn supplementary budget, which Fayose signed on September 14, 2018, about a month to the end of his tenure. The probe panel was set up at the plenary presided over by the Speaker, Adeniran Alagbada, on Tuesday. Reacting to the planned probe on Wednesday, Olayinka said Fayose was not perturbed about the probe, adding that it was funny that the Ekiti lawmakers planned to probe a budget which they approved. Kanu: British Govt Informs Nigeria of Plans to Issue Travel Document  Nnamdi Kanu It has been reportedly, that the British government has informed the Federal Government of plans to issue travel document to the the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu. A top government official disclosed this to reporters on the condition of anonymity on Tuesday.  Kanu is a dual citizen of Nigeria and Britain. The source said in informing the Federal Government of their intention, the British authorities made it clear that they have the best intentions towards Nigeria. “The British authorities have briefed the Nigerian government about the temporary travel documents they are about to issue to Nnamdi Kanu, who holds a Nigeria-UK dual citizenship. “It shows that they have the best intentions towards the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the source said.

Rapper Dies After Falling Off Plane During Video Shoot In Airplane Stunt Gone Wrong    The late rapper, Jon James   Jon James, a popular Canadian rapper, was killed on Saturday, Oct. 20, when he fell to his death in British Columbia while filming a music video in which he was walking on the wing of a plane while rapping.   According to a statement from the rapper's management, the 33-year-old who was known as an accomplished freeskier and stuntman, had been working on the shoot for months, training "intensively."   "However, as Jon got further out onto the wing of the plane, it caused the small Cessna to go into a downward spiral that the pilot couldn't correct,"  the statement said.   "Jon held onto the wing until it was too late, and by the time he let go, he didn't have time to pull his chute. Photo: FRSC No fewer than 10 passengers died while seven others were reportedly injured when a commercial luxury bus rammed into a stationary truck at the Asese end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, in the early hours of Tuesday. The Mercedes Benz Marcopolo bus with number plate, SMK 867 XG, was said to be heading for Lagos from the South-East when the incident happened.  It reportedly rammed into an Iveco truck with number plate, AAA 193 XP, which was said to have developed a mechanical fault and was parked by the roadside without any caution sign to warn oncoming vehicles. While nine persons died on the spot, the luxury bus’   motor boy , identified as Ifeanyi Eze, died at a private hospital where he was rushed to for treatment.
