PDP North West Publicity Secretary Dumps Party The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), North West Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Yusuf Babura,  has resigned his position. Babura told the  News Agency of Nigeria  in Dutse on Thursday that he has also dumped the party.  He explained that he left the PDP out of his personal desire and he is now consulting with his supporters on the next line of action. He thanked the entire members of his former party for the support and cooperation he received from them. “I wish to also to appeal to all those that I have offended directly or indirectly to forgive me,” he said.

Police Arrested The Togolese  Cook That killed Ope Bademosi                                                                                        The Suspect Ope Bademosi According to reports by Punch, he Ondo State Police Command has arrested the cook who killed his boss, Chief Ope Bademosi, in Lagos. The cook, who was identified as Sunday, was said to have committed the offence at the Lagos home of the deceased. He was alleged to have run away after the dastardly act. The police thereafter declared him wanted. The State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Femi Joseph, confirmed the arrest and said the suspect would be paraded today at the headquarters of the command. Just In: Court Stops NLC, TUC’s Planned Strike File photo The Planned Strike of the Nigeria Labour that was schedule to hold on 6th November  2018, has been order by the Nigeria Industrial Court not to embark on it.  The National Industrial Court of Nigeria has ordered the organised labour, comprising the Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress not to embark on its indefinite strike scheduled to commence on November 6. Justice Sanusi Kado, on Friday, gave the order in a ruling on an ex parte application moved on behalf of the Federal Government by the Solicitor-General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice, Mr. Dayo Apata. Agreeing with Apata, Justice Kado ruled that if the strike is allowed it would lead to huge economic loss to both public and private institutions and could jeopardise the health of many Nigerians who would not be able to access health facilities during the period.
