32 -Year-Old, Judge dies from Tooth Extraction Complications According to report, a 32-year-old judge at the Grade 1 Area Court, Kubwa, Abuja, Abdulwahab Mohammed, who slumped on Saturday, has died. The Court’s Executive Officer Litigation, Umar Kontagora,  told the  News Agency of Nigeria  that Mohammed died at the National Hospital Abuja on the same day. Kontagora said the late judge who had his tooth extracted at the Kubwa General Hospital, had some complications and had been in and out of the hospital before his death. Mohammed aged 32, hails from Edo and is survived by his pregnant wife. NAN  reports that in a recent judgment on Sept. 11, Mohammed, sentenced a 25-year-old storekeeper, Abubakar Hussaini, to 12 months in prison, after Hussaini pleaded guilty to burning his boss’s credentials for his failure to increase his salary‎. EX-Governor, Kwankwaso Reacted On Reports Of Him Dumping PDP For APC Rabiu Kwankwaso   Former governor of Kano state and Serving Senator, Rabiu Kwankwaso has finally reacted to reports that he is planning to return back to the All Progressives Congress, APC after dumping them for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.   In a statement via Twitter, He described the report as ‘Fake news’ adding that he is in the PDP to stay. He wrote;   “A fake news is being circulated on the social media that I am leaving the PDP. I wish to debunk these lies and once again state that   I am still a member of the PDP & have no intention of leaving my party the PDP; not now & certainly not anytime in the future. Power to the People”.

Buhari Birthday: Guards Brigade honours Him At 76                                                                                                           Buhari at 76 President Muhammadu Buhari celebrates his 76 years  birthday today. The Guards Brigade, comprising 203 members honoured the President on Monday by performing special parade for him. It   took place at the Fore Court of Presidential Villa, Abuja. It begins with the president arrival at the venue by 12.23pm, various military displays were held in what has adjudged the first elaborate birthday ceremonies since he assumed office in 2015. The President cut his birthday cake, watched by Service Chiefs and members of the Federal Executive Council.

NASS Workers Begin Strike, Block Gates National Assembly workers has began four day warning Strike, blocked the gates. According to reports by Punch, workers at the National Assembly, under the auspices of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, have begun their four-day warning strike. The workers stormed the entrances to the National Assembly Complex in the early hours of Monday to barricade the gates and prevent entry. More security operatives have been deploy to manage the protesters. Workers at the National Assembly have now shut down power and water supplies to the complex. The blockage of all entrances to the building has forced banks, restaurants and other businesses to close shops. Petty traders are now making brisk business, especially those selling water and snacks.
