Brazil to inject $1.1b into Nigeria’s agriculture sector According to  reports from Punch, the Brazilian Ambassador to Nigeria, Ricardo Guerra de Araujo, says Brazil will soon inject 1.1 billion dollars into Nigeria’s agriculture. The envoy said on Thursday night in an interview with  News Agency of Nigeria  in Abuja that an agreement between Brazil and Nigeria on the matter would be concluded by the end of October. The ambassador spoke at a dinner to sensitise Nigerians to an agriculture programme –Agritech  Nigeria – organised by the Osun Government. According to him, Brazil will help to transform Nigeria’s agriculture with the fund by establishing a tractor assembly plant in Bauchi State. He said that sustainable use of tractors and modern technology for farming in Nigeria would boost productivity. DMO, Fayose Disagree Over Ekiti State Liability Ayo Fayose and Dr. Kayode Fayemi According to reports from News Agency Nigeria, The Debt Management Office has said that the immediate past administration of Mr Ayo Fayose had a debt profile of about N120 billion as at June. The revelation about the financial records of Ekiti was contained in a document submitted to the DMO office in Abuja by officials of the state government in July, a copy of which was made available to the  News Agency of Nigeria  in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday. Graduating Nigeria Student  Going Home After His Final Exams Dies In Auto Crash  Abba Musa Isa    A graduating Nigerian university student has died soon after writing his final exams. The student identified as Abba Musa Isa, died on his way home from school after his final papers when the sad incident occurred.   He was a graduating Art and Social science Education student of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State. Hours after writing his final examination as an undergraduate, he set out for his home town of Kano, but died before getting there.   Local reports show that Abba died, yesterday at Kura along Kaduna/Kano axis.   His death came shortly after posting  “I’m coming home,”  on his WhatsApp story.
