Jordan Reopens Main Border Post with Syria after  3 years 33 According to reports, Jordan on Monday reopened its main border crossing with war-torn Syria, a key Middle East trade route, after a three-year closure,  AFP  reporters said. The black metal border gate was opened from the Jordanian side of the crossing at 8:00 am (0500 GMT) as more than a dozen police and customs officials stood nearby. Cars bearing Jordanian license plates queued to enter Syria as travellers expressed their joy at being able to cross the border. Syrian businessman Hisham Falyoun, who lives in Jordan with his wife and children, was the first person to cross the border in his black Mercedes jeep. “I am extremely happy, I can’t express my feelings. Boko Haram Threatens to Kill Another Female Red Cross Worker (Video) Saifura Hussaini Ahmed Khorsa: A Red Cross worker killed by Boko Haram in September   According to Reports from Tori Ng, The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), has called for the Nigerian government’s speedy intervention to save one of the two female staff being held hostage by Boko Haram.   Mr Mamadou Sow, Head of ICRC’s Operations in the Lake Chad Basin, in an SOS, said the terrorists have given a 24 hour deadline to eliminate the female staff.   Sow made the appeal to the Nigerian Government, communities and individuals towards the release of the two medical workers, Hauwa Mohammed and Alice Loksha.   “To the holder of these kidnapped women, we urge you for mercy.  Osita Iheme A Nollywood Star, Ventures Into Farming    Osita Iheme   The Nollywood Actor Osita Iheme, After opening his Resident Hotel in Owerri, Imo State, the star actor, aka Pawpaw, has ventured into Agriculture.   He showed off his farm on social media with Nigerian applauding him. Osita lheme cultivated cucumber, potato, pepper  and others on his farm.  He is  36, is widely known for playing the role of 'Pawpaw' in the film Aki na Ukwa alongside Chinedu Ikedieze. Osita Iheme has often been described as one of the best actors of his generation.

Young Lady Shot Dead By Policeman Near Her House In Abuja   Anita Akapson   Anita Akapson, a young and beautiful Nigerian lady has been reportedly killed by a police officer in Abuja.   she was reportedly a hardworking staff of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
