According to reports, President Buhari on Friday met behind closed doors with 36 state governors of the federation on the lingering disagreement between the organised labour and state governments on the proposed N30,000 national minimum wage. The  News Agency of Nigeria  observed that some of the governors were represented by their deputies at the meeting which lasted for about 30 minutes. President Buhari, had, on November 19, held similar meeting with representatives of Nigerian Governors Forum at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where the same issue of national minimum wage was deliberated upon. Sallah, Iwobi, Aubamenyang And Others, Shortlisted for African Player Of the Year Award Shortlist   The Confederation of African Football has announced the top 10 shortlists for the 2018 African Player of the Year.   Alex Iwobi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Sadio Mane made the cut decided by votes from the members of the Caf Media Committee, CAF Technical & Development Committee and half of the 20-member panel of experts.   The winners will be decided by votes from the head coaches and Technical Directors of the National Associations affiliated to CAF.   The Awards Gala will take place on Tuesday, 8 January 2019 in Dakar, Senegal.
