Just In: Protesting Youth Set Palace Ablaze, Abduct Monarch

According to Punch report, the palace of Salu of Edunabon, a town in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State, has been set ablaze by some youth protesting against the new monarch approved by the state government for the town.

The new monarch, Oba Kehinde Oladepo, who left seclusion in the early hours of Thursday, has been reportedly abducted by the youths.
While some sources in the town claimed the monarch was later handed over to the police, others said he was still being held by the youths.
