Minimum wage: Osinbajo-led Economic Team, Governors Meet

According to reports, members of the Economic Management Team led by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo are currently meeting with some state governors with a view to taking a position on the new national minimum wage.
The meeting is ongoing inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.State governors attending the meeting are Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari; Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu; Osun State Governor, Rauf Aragbesola; and Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong.Apart from Osinbajo, others at the meeting from the side of the Federal Government are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed; and Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udo Udoma.
Others are the Head of Service to the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita; Director-General, National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission, Chief Richard Egbule; and the Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris.

Corpses Of Two Naked Ladies Found Dumped By The Roadside With Organs Cut-off (Graphic Photos)   Corpses of the two ladies   The naked body of the corpses of two ladies with their organs missing was found by, the residents of Loum village in Umunze, Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State, along Umunze-Abia expressway.   According to a shocking report by Orient Weekend, the corpses were discovered by farmers on their way to farm before alerting Umunze vigilante group who subsequently invited police operatives that later evacuated them.    One of the vigilantes who saw the bodies and spoke to a correspondent, said, “the corpses were lying by the expressway way after Federal Government College of Education, Technical, Umunze, just at the entrance of the path­way to Loum villagers’ farms. “We were alerted by the farmers that made the discovery in the morning. Man Dies During Mansion Baptism In Ghana(Video) The man during baptism   A 20- year- old man by name Yaw Kyeremeh, has drowned while undergoing mansion baptism  by a pastor in a river south of Ghana’s capital, Accra, BBC reports.   video circulating on social media, Yaw Kyeremeh is seen stationed at the banks of River Densu together with a pastor who immersed him in the water.  Then after brief prayers he was immersed a second time but he did not emerge from the waters.   The Accra Regional Police Command spokeswoman Afia Tenge told the BBC a junior pastor had been arrested at the scene while police were still searching for the head pastor of the church involved in the baptism.   This has has led many people to question why a life should be lost during a religious ritual.   The man’s family is quoted by local media as saying that it does not blame anyone for the drowning.   The Police said his body has...
