 HAPPENING NOW: Rally for Ambode's second term: Supporters march from Maryland to Ojota.


 Akinwunmi Ambode is the  governor of Lagos State elected under the ruling party All Progressive Congress  (APC).

It was learnt  according to source that He was coming out for  continunity for His second tenure under the APC.  But was asked to step down for  Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the party’s ticket for the 2019 elections. By  His God Father  Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the Leader of the All Progressives Congress party Lagos State . APC.

The embattled Governor does not have the support of the All Progressives Congress Party to embark on his second term bid. He is expected to announce his decision to withdraw from the race as the party primaries hold on Monday.
